Canadian, Continuum's captain answered our questions about the Six Invitational.
Recently arrived in Pro League, the north-americains from Continuum were sacred Worlds Champions at Season 3 Finals at the end of an incredible game against the french from Playing Ducks. This world title combined to her status and her reputation make Continuum a favorite squad for the Six Invitational on PC, to which she's been invited. *aAa* been to the meeting of Canadian, captain of the nord-americain squad about the Major of early february.
*aAa* : How do you see the future of Siege ?
Canadian : The future of Siege is kind of unclear to me. There have been promising signs for year 2 such as Ubisoft's attention and resources being now focused towards 1 platform (PC). However I am concerned that the sort of "break" from competitive content between S3 finals and the Six Invitational may have hurt he games growth competitively.
For you, what Ubisoft need to do to make the game reach the top ?In order for the game to reach the top I think we just need more competition for people to watch. Year 1 showed that the game has huge potential from seeing the growth between S1 all the way to S3. Like I said earlier the downtime during the Six Invitational qualifiers might have hurt growth, so that being said I hope that Ubisoft tries to avoid another drought of content like that.
You come at the Six Invitational with a world title to defend. A kind of pressure ?Of course going in we feel some degree of pressure since we know not only do most of our opponents view us as the biggest threat, but we also have a large part of the community that expects us to win. I'm confident none of that will really effect us though.

What are your feelings about playing new teams in this international event, especially Dexterity, from the LATAM region or Envy from Asia ?I think Dexterity is being underestimated by a lot of the NA and EU fans and teams. From what I've seen the common opinion is that they fall under the stereotypical Brazilian play style which is fast paced and very frag oriented, almost like they're playing deathmatch rather than the bomb game mode. However I know that Dexterity definitely plays different from the rest of the Brazilian teams that fall into that stereotype and not only bring lots of talent to the table but also structure. Envy and the Asian scene I do not know as much about. I wasn't particularly blown away by anything I saw in their qualifiers, however we definitely are not viewing them as a pushover.
With your victory à Season 3 Finals in Katowice, you have a kind of favorite status. How will you take the best of it ?Like I said earlier it kind of adds a little bit of pressure but I'm sure we won't be affected by it. Regardless of expectations from the community regarding our team we would go into the tournament with complete confidence that we could win.
What's the team your the most confident to play ?The team I think we would be most confident to play would probably be eRa since we know the most about them compared to every other team at the event since we are from the same region. Although they very well could be more talented than some of the other teams there, I just think being so familiar with how they play would make us much more comfortable in a head to head match up with them.
Conversly, what's the team your the most umconfortable to play ?I think the team I would be most uncomfortable to play would probably be Dexterity because they aren't bringing a play style we are accustomed to so we have more of a chance to be caught off guard. However if we do match up with them I think we will be prepared enough.

If you had to make the ranking of the tournament, what would be it ? (without your team)If I weren't allowed to include ourselves I would probably rank the teams as:
1. ESG
2. GiFu
3. Dexterity
4. eRa
5. Envy
Thank you for giving your time for this interview, i let you the final word !It was my pleasure to do it! Just a quick thanks to my teammates for being the best teammates out there, our organization @ContinuumR6 and lastly to just the entire Rainbow Six Siege community since you guys after all are the most important piece to making this game grow.
